(maps showing location: Google Streetmap Multimap )
Date photograph taken: 17 October 2000
Date built: 1600s

Originally located at the west end of Nevile's Court, but moved to its present location when Wren Library was built. At the top is the royal coat of arms, in particular the shield between the lion and the unicorn has the motto ("Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense") of the Order of the Garter on it. The coat of arms is found throughout the college, including in several places in the Master's Lodge. It is also found, for example, on the monument to Hobson's Conduit.
