The second new multi-storey car park built on the hospital
site in a few years, in a belated attempt to address the
chronic parking situation created by the fashionable view
that loads of new buildings should be added on the site but
no new parking.
A serious fire broke out on the second floor of the car park
on 13 December 2025.
