A fairly typical 1930s building, this is slightly unusual in
that it was designed by the university estate management
division, although it is a college building.
It was refurbished and slightly extended at the back in the
1980s (architect, P.B.D. Sutherland).
More significantly, the glass-fronted section on the top floor
is a flat that was added in 2007-2008 (architect, Bobby Open).
It provides accomodation for the person who looks after the
grounds.
