Cambridge, England: university: Madingley Road: Kavli Institute for Cosmology (Annand and Mustoe)
(maps showing location: Google Streetmap Multimap )
Date photograph taken: 27 July 2009
Date built: 2008-2009
Architect: Annand and Mustoe

The Kavli Institute is jointly run by three departments: the Institute of Astronomy (IOA), the Department of Physics (Cavendish Laboratory, Astrophysics Group) and the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP, Centre for Theoretical Cosmology). But it is located right next door to, and attached to, the IOA so that will almost certainly dominate the institute.

The building is of a similar size to the existing IOA buildings but the brick is yellow instead of red and the shape is more interesting.
