St Andrew's Street: Christ's Lane
This has two floors of retail space and flats on the top floor,
and replaced
Bradwell's Court,
a 1960's shopping mall. The first stores opened in November 2007
but the building work continued into 2008.
Bradwell's Court had a path down the middle between the front of
the mall on St Andrew's Street and the back of the mall at the
Drummer Street bus station. As part of the re-development this
new mall instead re-opened the parallel Christ's Lane alley,
located at the north side (at the left in the photo), hence the
name.
