This block contains 34 rooms and can be used for
conferences
as well as for students. It is tucked away at the far north-west
corner of Memorial Court, and the best view is as shown, from
Burrell's Walk, rather than from inside the court. The projecting
windows are the main architectural feature, and these windows
wrap around (indeed the section that is not visible is larger).
These provide good views over Burrell's Walk and part of the garden
of the Trinity College
Burrell's Field
development.
Van Heyningen and Haward were the design architects and Bland, Brown
and Cole were the executive architects.
