There are many bridges over the River Cam, this is a private one leading up to New Court, Trinity, from the Backs.
Wren Library is to the right and St John's New Court is in the distance.
The punts (a peculiar Cambridge and Oxford boat) are active almost all the year, with the river quiet only for a short time in winter.
