Brooklands Avenue: Wymondham House, 18
This was originally the home of George Kett, of the local
firm of Rattee and Kett (part of the Mowlem Group since 1926).
He was born in Wymondham, Norfolk, hence the name of the
house, but his family left there when he was still a
baby.
This was on the market in 2000 for an asking price of
1 million pounds (about 1.6 million Euros). At that
point it was an office, but the new owner converted it
back to a private residence.
