Many English cities have modern estates abutting the greenbelt, these estates can easily be spotted because they are still fresh looking, although cramped.
The field contains oil rapeseed (Brassica napus) which in its midlife forms a dense matt which forms patterns like (static) ocean waves and which is almost impassable.
