One of the plainest buildings in the neighbourhood, very modernist in style. It was built for Eileen Power and Michael Poston, two economic historians who married in 1937. She had been working at the LSE but came to Cambridge as part of the wartime evacuation of the LSE to the city. Unfortunately she died in 1940, not long after the house was finished.
