One of the disasters of Cambridge, this large office block was unoccupied for many years. In 2002 major remedial work was undertaken, including a complete re-cladding of the exterior in reddish-brown brick. In 2003 the complex was named City House and opened for business. (Another part of the complex, to the south of this one, remained clad with the original brick, and was renamed Unex House.)
