The interior of the bridge over the railway line has one path for cyclists (on the left) and a slightly raised one for pedestrians, about the best way to ensure the two do not collide. As can be seen, the perspex walls did not age well. In 2005-2006, as part of a refurbishment of the bridge, the perspex was replaced and a new floor deck installed.
