Gonville Place: Parkside Pools
Recently the old swimming pool was knocked down and a new one
put up in its place, the
wavy roof
is wonderful and hopefully it will age well. It's unusual
for the city government to have enough vision to construct
such a building, but the National Lottery paid much of the
cost, which helped enormously.
Colleges do not have swimming pools so
students share this facility with local residents.
