Until recently this was occupied by one of the sites for
Ridgeons, a supplier of building materials. Replacing that
with high density housing would have been worth
millions of pounds and it's hard to turn that down. There
is a communal play area but not much else. This is the kind
of unexceptional residential development which is the norm
in the city (and it will get worse in future, with even
higher densities). This site is located near the train
station so the houses are not cheap.
