The main entrance to the college. Christ's had plans for a building on Hobson Street designed by Gropius during his brief stay in England in the 1930s, but this was eventually rejected by the college so was never built. He was the architect, along with Maxwell Fry, for the Impington Village College just north of Cambridge.
