| Date built: 1749 |
| Architect: W. Etheridge |
The most charming of the bridges in Cambridge, it connects the older and newer parts of the college. There does not seem to be a particular reason for its name. It was designed by Etheridge but built by James Essex. It was rebuilt in 1867 and 1902.
