Cambridge 2000: Trinity College: Grange Road: 58
Trinity College: Grange Road: 58: graduate hostel
One of the nicer houses on Grange Road, now converted
to post-graduate accomodation, mostly for foreign
students. One of the rooms is panelled with wood.
Until 1980 the cooking facilities consisted of a
couple of rings, in that year the college added a
small oven. This is typical of university life,
students are generally not expected to cook in their
accomodation but instead to eat in college.
The addition of a large number of
buildings
to Burrell's Field has largely spoiled the view of and
for this house. Prior to this development the garden
was mainly lawn.
