A few people in Cambridge live on houseboats on the River Cam. The Cam itself is not a very clean river, but no doubt the particular houseboat lifestyle is satisfying to some people.
The willow tree (Salix), to the left in the picture, looks full of life even in winter and is the perfect riverside tree.
