Cambridge Snow Photographs: March 2008

A couple of inches of snow fell in Cambridge on the morning of
23 March 2008, Easter Sunday. The snow melted almost as fast as
it was falling, and it was pretty much all gone by mid-afternoon.
The university was between terms, so most of the undergraduates
were not in town, and so there was not much in the way of snow
sculpture in the colleges. By far and away the best effort on
that front was on Jesus Green (e.g. see the snow torso near the
bottom below).
